Simple Pleasures CAMPAIGN 16MM
This was such a fun and challenging project we produced from start to finish with Del Villar brand. The concept was Simple Pleasures. Portraying those spontaneous, special moments we've all been through at some point, which give us instant satisfaction. Making these films with an analog 16mm vintage camera was an amazing challenge, since it was an extremely low budget production and needed to use different film stock for shooting interiors and exteriors. We couldn't be happier with the result, and we think a lot of it has to do with having enjoyed the process so much second by second. We just love shooting film. It changes the whole approach and perspective of a project. Released as individual spots. Shot on Kodak 16mm film 50D, 250D and 500T. Director, Cinematographer, Editor, Sound design: Rudi Gennari Producer: Agus Maruca Processed by NegLab Sydney Scanned by Memory Lab Melbourne Big thanks to The Sunseeker Byron Bay and Del Villar.

Chapter II: The Ocean
2014 i met this beautiful young lady. Together we made a short video called 'Chapter I The Woods' in Ecuador, intended to be the first in a series of shorts. It was the rebirth of KB Films. Then we shot some more, travelled far and wide across the globe and 4 years later in Sri Lanka we made 'Chapter II, The Ocean'. Without making it intentional, now I realise that both of the videos have a similarity besides having the same character in them. They're about connecting with nature in the most simple and natural way, and the joy that brings. Something many humans seem to have forgotten, but not her. Head over to our Vimeo channel to watch Chapter I The Woods.

BRUCE & JOHN JOHN in Mexico
While shooting our first documentary "Sueños de Sal" in Mexico, we came across these two aliens @john_john_florence & @bruceirons having a laid back surf session and doing things we can't even think of. It was such a pleasure just to be able to see the live show, that we made a little edit to remember that day. Thanks for the inspiration guys!

Mentawai Plastic Pollution
We are nature, you know? So we should be on the same side. Since when there's such disconnection between human and nature? Do you see the logic in the fact that when you do good to nature you do good to yourself and the other way around? Education is the key to start changing these facts. These images were all shot at the same place, 50 mts away from the famous wave Lance's Right. The once pristine sea and beaches are now covered with plastic bags, wraps, and all sort of packaging for even more plastic food, shampoos, etc. Oceans are the Earth's thermometer, and without a healthy ocean, there's a chain of chatastrophic events following. It's hard to fight against a system that wants you to consume more and more, but times are changing and people are more aware of what's happening with plastic globally. That's good! but we need to get to the people who are not even reading this post!!! They will be the difference to start moving towards nature's favour. Our favour. IKI
Have you ever met someone so full of good energy that makes it contagious? For those of you who don't know @candart_iki, let me tell you he's one of them. He made a majestic drawing for our feature documentary four years ago. He was in Japan, we were in Ecuador. Three years after that, destiny crossed our paths in Australia and we were able to return the favour. Not only that but got to meet a genuine talented guy that smiles all the time and is so generous and simple that inspires. Music by Charles Bradley

La Huella MTB
Petroleum is Ecuador's main business activity. The oil pipeline from Libertad to Manta city has 170 km long and takes different kinds of oil to Manabi province. Most of this pipeline is buried underneath the floor. With our friend Rene, we decided to gather and use part of this old pipeline in a more enjoyable way.
